Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei has opened up about two major problems affecting the domestic league.
He mentioned that age criticism from football fans and financial problems has led to the retirement of players in the domestic league.
In an interview with Accra base radio station Atinka FM, he expressed his worries about how clubs are being managed which has led to the early retirement of Ghanaian players.
The attacking midfield, said organizers during Congo league focus more on the performance of players not their age in particular.
“Majority of the Congolese players play for their clubs for more than 15 years before they go on retirement,” he said.
The 29 year old player reiterated that there is just some slight difference between the Ghana and Congo league but Congo pays better.
He mentioned that football as a profession has never been an easy one hence if players are not paid well to be able to cater for their families then they are likely to leave their old team and accept any offer they find lucrative.
