Kotoko legend Abdul Razak golden boy believes he can end Ghana’s trophy drought

Former Africa player of the year Abdul Razak “Golden Boy” says he can end Ghana’s wait for a major trophy.

The ex-Kotoko star, who regrets playing for the reds, insists he can win with the Black Stars and will relish an opportunity to Coach the senior national team.

The 61 year old won the Africa Cup of nations on two occasions and has enormous experience Coach on the continent.

“I have regretted sacrificing for Kotoko and the National team because for now the only thing left for me is to be with the National team and win something, and I know I can win it, I know I can win something for the National team, if not I will retire,” he said on GTV’s Inquest show.

“I have won everything at Club level, I won in Benin, at Mali I won four times.”

The  Black Stars have not won the Africa Cup of Nations since 1982, but have made it to the semifinals in the last six editions.
