Increment on transport fare to take effect on 4th June 2018 – (GPRTU)

The general Secretary of the Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana Mr. Mohammed has confirmed the increment of transport fare which was said to take effect from 4th June 2018.

The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) earlier announced that transport fares are likely to go up by 15% and 20% beginning next week.

Speaking to amanienewsa Mr. expressed his excitement over the increment, explaining that there have been instances where fuel prices are increased which does not take effect on transports fares and that affected their market.

He further explained that looking at the percentage on the increment, passengers are likely to pay 25pewes to 30pewes additional to their old transport fares.
