170 patients benefit from Ambulance services in the Upper Denkyira East

In a space of a year 2020, 173 patients have benefitted from the operations of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality in the Central Region of Ghana
The patients had peculiar and emergency cases including maternal, medical, trauma, road traffic accidents and pediatrics.
In an interview with Mohammed Radiu Dinn Rasko, Solar fm, Mr Charles Kweku Dorse, the Municipal Ambulance Officer of NAS Upper Denkyira East, revealed that more males than females benefitted.
The year 2020 recorded 102 male cases and 71 female cases he said.
There were 75 medical cases, 11 pediatrics, 5 road traffic accidents, 51 Trauma and 31 maternal cases.
Mr. Charles Kweku Dorse said, Per the new pending approval law from the Presidency, every public gathering or event will be mandatory to invite the National Ambulance Service (NAS) for emergencies.
 Mr. Dorse said, their major challenges are the accommodation for personnel, Inadequate Office furniture’s and computers. He therefore appeals to the government to come to their aid.
Mr. Charcles Kweku Dorse commended his team for the support and hard work and pledged to serve the people with dedication to ensure satisfaction and trust.
