The 2019 Greater Accra Handball Knockout Female Champions have been thrashed out of the 2021 GAHLCA League Cup by Navy on Thursday in the ongoing knockout playoffs.
The Prisons Handball Court was the center of the action as Ghana Air Force and Ghana Navy lock horns in the opening of the knockout playoffs.
Ghana Navy played all out from the blast of the whistle to the end of the game with a 23-22 scoreline which secured them a place in the quarter-finals. Ghana Air Force was distorted by the Navy team who has been out of active handball for about
four years.
Navy goalkeeper was a delight to watch as she secured her area and blocked all the jump shots by Air Force in the dying minutes of the game.
Number 9 Navy player was the goal queen with 9goals.
Meanwhile, 3 weeks into the 2021 league, the Navy has won 2 and lost 1 whilst Air Force on the other hand has won all their 3 league game.
