16 selected Communities in Accra are set for the 7th edition of the ‘Maulid’ inter communities soccer tournament which takes place today at the Lord’s Wembley Plus, Accra.
The event falls in line with the celebrations of the Maulid festival which comes off every year.
With whooping prizes at stake, the communities are expected to battle for supremacy and bragging rights.
They includes, Shukura, Russia, Kalakuta Republic, Zabrama line, Nasarawa, Sabon Zango, Ayigbe Town and Cow lane.
The others are Fadama, Abeka, Darkuman, Newtown, Awoshie, A-Lang, Swedru and Nsawam.
