Former president, John Dramani Mahama has been honoured by the Ghanaian Yoruba community at a very colorful event held in Accra last weekend.
He was awarded due to his exemplary leadership qualities and roles exhibited during his tenure as president of the republic.
Former President Mahama was also honoured with an award for his outstanding contribution to the development of Yorubas in Ghana.
Other Recipients of the awards included ex black star player, Golden boy Abdul Razak, Yoruba Chief Kabiesi Perigrino Hamza, Hajia Risikatu Vanderpuije among others.
