Staff from Absa Bank born in June donated Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis(Ghc 10,000.00) to discharge babies at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
ln all, seventeen(17) babies benefited from the donation.
Representing the Group, the Ag. Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Mr. Frederick Nyinaku said the donation was their way of celebrating their birth month.
He said staff members had sacrificed their lunch in order to raise funds to support insolvent mothers who have thier babies at NICU.
A Senior Project Manager of the Bank and Coordinator for the donation, Dr. Rejoice Foli thanked her colleagues( June borns) for their immense support and love they had showed to the patients.
Madam Agnes Ofosu Boateng, the Chief Nursing Officer of Child Health and the PR team also thanked the Group for their kind gesture.
Mothers whose babies benefitted from the donation could also not hide their relief. They thanked the Group for the financial aid.
