Jefferson Sackey hosts ‘Iftar’ for Muslim Polling station executives in the Abossey Okai Electoral Area

NPP Parliamentary candidate hopeful for the Ablekuma Central Constituency, Hon. Jefferson Sackey on Saturday, 8th April, 2023 hosted some polling station executives and party faithfuls at Zongo Tuta in the Abossey Okai Electoral Area of the Ablekuma Central Constituency for ‘Iftar’, the daily breaking of fast.

The evening Iftar is the fourth in the series, being organised by the astute politician within the season of Ramadan.

Mr. Jefferson Sackey expressed appreciation to the Polling Station executives gathered, for their contributions to the New Patriotic Party and requested  for prayers for the unity of the party especially during this primary season and for Allah to bless all who have dedicated their time and efforts for the growth of the party.

Mallam Awudu, on behalf of the Muslim Ummah at Zongo Tuta expressed  gratitude to Mr. Sackey for his kind gesture and prayed for God’s guidance and success throughout the campaign and election period.

Sarki Lawal Garbey also used the opportunity to advice party faithfuls on the need to stay united before and after primaries to be able to win back the Ablekuma Central seat as well as Break the 8 as a party.

At the beginning of Ramadan this year, 23rd March, 2023, Mr. Sackey donated items to 13 Mosques in the Ablekuma Central Constituency to aid in the  successful completion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

He began his series of Iftar with Sariku Abu and his Scrap dealers at Gaskia and moved to Muslim Polling Station Executives of Laterbiokorshie.

Mr. Sackey was in the company of Mr. Frank Debrah, former Constituency Chairman ; Hon. Abana Asoke, Presiding Member of the Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly, some Constituency Executives, Electoral Area Cordinators and members of his New Energy Campaign.
