Currently in the Amasaman constituency, some youth, sympathizers and Branch executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have threatened to quit the party if the women organizer, Mavis Korley and the Deputy youth organiser, Kenneth are not expelled from their work.

The angry branch executives issued the threat during a meeting which was held at the constituency to discuss the perilous behaviour and uncouth attitude of Mavis Korley towards a parliamentary aspirant, Dzifa Mariam Ibrahim.

It is said that the two, in an interview on Hot FM tongue-lashed the parliamentary aspirant and also announced her immediate defection from the party.

The sympathizers stated that, the duo had not only breached the rules of the party in terms of laid down channels of communication, adding that, they have proved gross disrespect for the party.

They stated categorically that, the NDC Women Organizer for the Amasaman Constituency is a liar, incompetent and a disgrace to women empowerment Agenda in the party in the Amasaman constituency.

Our demand suggest they must be expelled from the party as early as practicable to forestall any further display of indiscipline towards the innocent hardworking woman of the century, Madam Hajia Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim, they said.

Parliamentary aspirant, Dzifa Ibrahim Mariam did not retaliate when invited
by the same radio station, Hot FM to speak on the issue, rather, marketed the NDC and called on people to support the NDC and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama for election 2020 victory.
