Sensational DJ Sticky norminated for GOME Awards

GOME Awards is an award scheme to promote the Ga language, entertainment, sports, trade and traditional fields within the Greater Accra. The award is designed to recognize, appreciate and reward hard working individuals or deserving personalities which radio personality DJ Sticky is nominated as the DJ of the year, TV and Radio Personality of the Year and MC of the year

 

 

A brief story of DJ Sticky

Joseph Kwame Asante Junior started as a sound engineer in his church fixing equipment, sound systems and public address in Ghana and African countries like Cameroon and Cote D’Ivoire at forums and conferences.

He started playing at then Pravda Radio 93.5mhz and part of the technical department, with crafty skills and tactics in disk jokey in the entertainment industry. He was the Dj for renowned radio personality O. B. Nartey of now Vision One FM 93.5, also the official DJ of Friday Night Madness with popular comedian DKB and the DJ for the Pravda Radio Mid-Morning Show with radio personality Mabel Osei Agyemang and Saturday Entertainment.

DJ Sticky was the official DJ for Smile Time Africa with Host Smile Baba on Pravda Radio and produced the Sports of the station. DJ Sticky turned tables at TV3 Music Music with musician SkrewFaze and the television’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful beauty pageant.

He was called to be the official disk jokey for Tigo Festival Trade with music duo Keche and was the DJ for the West African Arm-Wrestling Competition hosted in Ghana. He shared the same stage with Ghana’s dancehall king Shatta Wale at Shiny Beach Festival organized by Pravda Radio 93.5mhz. He later worked with Radio360 102.1mhz in Accra playing the test transmission as well as 3FM 92.7mhz and some renowned radio stations in Accra and Takoradi.

DJ Sticky is currently working with Amanie FM 93.3mhz as the Host of the Drive Time Show spending more than three years with the station, he’s assisted by Reggae and Dancehall MC DJ Levin Levin of the Late Night Zion Train on Friday’s at the  station.
