The Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly, led by Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Frank Nkansah, has conducted a follow-up enforcement exercise targeting warehouse operations within the municipality.

This initiative aims to enhance public safety, maintain order, and curb the growing nuisance caused by unregulated activities in the area. The exercise is part of the Assembly’s continuous efforts to ensure all unauthorized structures and businesses comply with proper building and safety regulations.

Hon. Nkansah emphasized that this exercise is not a one-off operation but part of a sustained campaign to ensure all developments within the municipality conform to the highest standards of safety, planning, and environmental responsibility.

“Several affected individuals had extended their operations beyond their approved permit boundaries, with some permits issued as far back as eight years ago, and had failed to regularize their activities with the Assembly. Such practices endanger both the safety and wellbeing of residents and the surrounding community”.

The Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting lives and property.

According to the MCE, the Assembly will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that all developments within its jurisdiction conform to the highest standards of safety, planning, and environmental responsibility.

This initiative demonstrates the Assembly’s dedication to maintaining a safe and orderly environment for residents and businesses.

The Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly urges all residents and businesses to cooperate with the Assembly in its efforts to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
