Minister of Communication and Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West Constituency, Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful, has donated a total of 3000 mono – Desk and 2000 mathematical set to 105 basic schools in the constituency.
About 12 Government basic schools benefited including Gbegbeyise basic school and 88 private basic schools.
The Member of Parliament in an interview with our reporter, Nsor Paul mensah, stated that the donation will go a long way as it would propel the students ahead of their BECE examinations.
He also advised the authorities of the schools to put in maintenance measures in order to improve the lifespan of the items.
The Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Christian Aforlah in his speech expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the MP and assured her of their support and promised to uplift the image of the constituency at the end of the BECE examinations.
