It was fun,as Artists, Radio Presenters, Sound engineers, Comedians, Cultural Groups among others staged at Mikkado Plaza at Labone to receive awards for the various categories which happened on Friday 30th August,2019.
It was the first edition of “Gome Awards” 2019 after various groups were nominated.The nominees for the Gome Awards includes; Ga Damgbe Event House Of the Year,Afro-Pop Artists of the Year,Sound Engineer Of the Year,Radio Personality Of the Year,Youth Advocate /Entrepreneur of the Year,Ga Damgbe Radio/TV Station of the Year among others.
Some radio presenters nominated from Amanie Fm includes Edward Nii Commetey Tetteh (DJ /MC Of the Year & Radio Personality Of the Year),DJ Sticky (DJ/MC Of the Year & Radio Personality Of the Year) DJ Levin (DJ/MC Of the Year) Tete-Wayo Sampson (Radio Personality Of the Year) and Nii Aryeetey Aryeetey (Ga Damgbe Youth Advocate/Entrepreneur Of the Year).
Gome Awards is mainly designed to recognize, appreciate and reward hardworking individuals who in daily bases promote Ga Damgbe communities.
