Kumasi Asante Kotoko Women’s team will take full effect from next season, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nana Yaw Amponsah has confirmed.
According to the eloquent CEO, the club’s plans of having their own run female football team will take after in the 2021-22 season.
Speaking at the unveiling of the new management team, the former CEO of Phar Rangers confirmed the club has taken steps to set up a female team to compete in both Ghana and around the continent.
“We’ve plans to establish our own female football team and this vision will be implemented a season after the 2020-21 campaign”, he said.
According to Kotoko’s new CEO, the club is fully prepared to do things right to uplift the dying image both within and across Africa and having a female team is one of its topmost priorities.
