The Coastal Development Authority (CODA) has completed the construction of 0.9M double culvert and a 0.9M drain at Kasoa High-Tension in the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana.
In achieving its mandate of socio-economic development in the coastal development zone, CODA in a stakeholders’ engagement and need assessment approved the construction of several projects for the constituency.
During monitoring, it was assessed that aside the completed drains and culverts, ongoing projects were progressing steadily.
The ongoing projects include a borehole in Obaatampa, a 3-Unit classroom block in Kasoa Akweley, a 0.6M U-drain at Kasoa CP Tipper Junction, a box culvert at Kasoa-Downtown around the Datus school, and a 12-unit classroom block at Kasoa Presbyterian School.
These projects are funded by the Government of Ghana (GoG) under the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) in order to accelerate economic and social development.
