COVID-19: Ghana Swimming Association donates to clubs

Ghana Swimming Association ( G.S.A.) has today Wednesday 2nd July, 2020 donated PPEs to some swimming clubs in the country.

The donation was in a right direction in order to help fight the coronavirus.

The clubs in good standings benefited from the donation which took place at a short ceremony in Accra.

The clubs includes Gh Dolphins, Torpedo Swimming Club, Gh Aquatics, Kumasi White Sharks, KNUST Dolphins, Marlins Swimming Club, Legon Sharks and Blue Fins Swimming Clubs.

They were each presented with an Infrared Temperature Gun and 10 pieces of Hand Sanitizers.

The clubs expressed their gratitude on the kind gesture and hinted that the items will go a long way to help kick start their training amid the pandemic.

The President, Nana Akufo Addo in an earlier update on measures taken to reduce the spread of the virus, announced that training for non contact sports can begin and swimming falls in that category.
