Executive Director of Dreams Football Club Mr. Kurt E.S Okraku has officially declared his thoughts to contest for GFA presidential seat.
He made his intention known via a video interview on social media. He exclaimed,” Dear members of the football family,after a hard process of deliberations,discussions,engagements and consultations with our various football stakeholders in the football industry,I have made myself forward to contest the leadership of the Ghana Football Association when the process officially comes.
Colleagues he stated,”My conviction to contest the upcoming elections was enhanced during the period of consultations with the various stakeholders,with made it evidence that the qualities i posses is exactly what our people have been yelling for as we strive to move our industry to the next level of at this particular point in time.
My aim obviously is to ensure that all key players in our industry get a fair share of the enormous global wealth of association football,that every person connected to the beautiful game ripe their rightful dues for their unending efforts and enormous investments.
Mr. Okraku will face strong competition from the likes of George Afriyie, Kweku Osei Palmar, Nana Yaw Amponsah and current Ghalca chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo.
The elective congress has been slated for Saturday 7th September, 2019 in Accra.
