African dancehall king, Shatta Wale, has been awarded as the Most Influential Man of the Year for 2019.
Shatta Wale grabbed this award at the maiden edition of the Ghana Actors and Entertainers Awards which took place over the weekend at the Mensvic Grand Hotel.
The ‘Melissa’ hitmaker won an additional award; Entertainment Personality of the Year.
45 awards and 5 honorary awards were given out at the Ghana Actors and Entertainers Awards 2019.
Some of the winners for the night also included Ola Michael, Zionfelix, Gifty Anti and Akumaa Mama Zimbi. There were also performances from some artists including Kobi Rana and Kumi Guitar.
The Ghana Actors and Entertainers Awards is a scheme set up to award influential individuals from the music, movie, Radio and TV Industries.
