The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has passionately appealed and beg residents across the region to come out in their numbers and exercise their civic responsibility at the polls.
Speaking during an engagement with constituents, the Minister openly begged voters not to stay home on election day but to participate actively in the democratic process. She emphasized that every vote counts and plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the region and the country at large.
According to her, democracy thrives when citizens fully engage in choosing their leaders, and low voter turnout weakens collective representation. She therefore urged eligible voters to prioritize voting and encourage family members, friends, and neighbors to do the same.
The Minister further assured constituents that adequate security arrangements would be in place to ensure a peaceful and orderly voting process. She reiterated that participation in elections is not only a right but also a responsibility that strengthens governance and development.
She concluded by once again pleading with residents to come out massively and make their voices heard through the ballot.
