Hon. Elizabeth Afoley Quaye, the current Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development has filed her nomination forms to contest in the upcoming NPP primaries on the seat of the Krowor constituency.
The filling ceremony which took place on Wednesday 19th February took barely 30 minutes at the party office and was presided with jubilation by some of the constituents right from the aspirant’s house through some principal streets of Nungua to the party office at Community 5 in Tema.
The aspirant, who expressed shock at what she described as overwhelmed support, pleaded with the people to vote massively for her and the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, again in the 2020 elections.
She said the government was poised to push more development to the constituency, and such could only materialized if she as well as her president remains in office for the next four more years.
