The Greater Accra regional youth organiser of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Hon. Moses Abor has vehemently stated that the vision of the party is poised on breaking the ‘8’.
In a social media post sighted by amaniefm.com, on Wednesday, 25th January, 2023, Moses Abor urged all party members, appointees and government officials to emulate the hardworking administrator of the District Common Fund, Irene Naa Torshie Addo.
He described her as the most loyal, honest and youth empowerment activist of the party.
This, he said would empower the party to continue thrive on it’s ambitions and visions.

“I have always highlighted that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only party that can transform the youth and the nation as a whole. Therefore, efforts to retain power is a collective responsibility of every member of the party.
To achieve this objective, the wellbeing of the grassroot as well as the youth of the party must be prioritized.
However, it sometimes become disheartening to see some of the appointees of this government turn their backs on the very people whose efforts brought the party to power.
One appointee who is constantly working tirelessly to ensure that the party footsoldiers, grassroots, and the youth are well empowered is Hon. Irene Naa Torshie Addo (District Assemblies Common Fund Administrator).
I call her the “Mother of the Greater Accra Region” because she is generous, hospitable, compassionate and and above all, very kind to the party folks.
Her continuous support to the aged, the widows and widowers, the youth and party activities is worth commendation.
Our beloved Political Party, the New Patriotic Party (Development In Freedom) is doing everything possible to be the first political party to break the 8-year cycle of change of governance between it and its principal opponent, the National Democratic Congress.
Therefore, I encourage all the government appointees to emulate the tremendous efforts of Hon Naa Torshie Addo to ensure the party’s vision of governing beyond eight years is realized”.
