The newly crowned king of Ghana music, Kuami Eguene (Rockstar) is of the view that, he is not obliged to force Sarkodie to call and congratulate him.
Eugene, recently won the most decorated 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year award last weekend in Accra.
Eugene, in an interview on Hitz fm and monitored by this portal stated that, people called to congratulate him after winning the awards but had no call from Sarkodie.
“I had calls from my family just to congratulate me especially my mum, my friends also called and so many artistes, Kidi, Sista Efia, Ponobiom, Adina and others. But Sarkodie never called, I am not worried or disturbed.
“I can’t force Sarkodie to call or text me, he is Sark, and I respect him a lot so I cant say he should call me and congratulate me. It is normal in our industry,” he posited.
“If he calls I will answer, I have nothing against me and I guess he holds nothing against me also,” the Rockstar stressed.
