The Deputy Director of Communications at the Office of the President, Mr Jefferson Kwamina Sackey this afternoon, March 23, 2023 donated items to 13 Mosques in the Ablekuma Central Constituency.
The items donated included Tins of milk, milo, sugar, lipton, ablution kettles (Buta), praying mats among other things.
According to Mr Sackey, this gesture is to aid in the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan as fasting begins today.
He thus charged them to pray for unity, love and peace for the constituency and country.
Receiving the items on behalf of their respective Mosques, Mallam Abubakar Charles (Yalwa Mosque), Mallam Hussein(Dan Malle Mosque) and Mallam Tanko (Abossey Okai Zongo Mosque) expressed their gratitude to Mr Jefferson and asked for Allah’s blessings for him.
“We are grateful for this gesture, and we believe it will go a long way to help in this period. We thank you Mr Sackey, and we will seek on Allah to bless you for this.”
