Former president, John Dramani Mahama has commiserated with the families of the late Okaikoi Central Constituency treasurer, Idaya Ahmed who passed on last Saturday.
The families of the late Ahmed also received GH¢5000 cedis and bags of rice among others from the former president as a form of support.
He also pledged to support injured victims who are currently on admissions.
The donation which took place during the “Fiddau”, the 3rd Adua at the Chief Iman’s palace was done by some National executives of the NDC as well as Constituency members on behalf of John Mahama.
The National chief Iman, H.E Sheikh Nuhu Sharubutu expressed gratitude to John Mahama and the NDC for the kind gesture.
He used the opportunity to invite other individuals to support the needy in the various Communities.
