The Board of Directors of Asante Kotoko SC have instituted 5-member Interim Management team to steer the affairs of the club until the work of the Prof. Lydia Nkansah committee is done.
Asante Kotoko has been without a Management team since the George Amoako led Management was dissolved weeks after the formation of the current Board of Directors.
The 5-member team will be headed by Joseph Yaw Adu who will act as Chief Executive Officer before a substantive CEO is announced.
Other members include Evelyn Nsia-Asare, Kofi Amoa-Abban, Kwamena Mensah (Esq), and Martin Brobbey.
The formation of the Interim Management team has become a necessity following various degree of issues that need swift attention to resolve them amicably.
Among the issues the Interim Management will work them out includes players whose contracts have expired or near expiration, Payment of signing on fees to players who joined the club last season, and existing contracts with the club’s sponsors.
They will also examine performance audit and peruse into documents, and report back to the Board.
The Interim Management team replaces erstwhile Management members which includes George Amoako, Nana Kwasi Gyambibi, Edmund Ackah, Nana Kwame Dankwah, Isaac Donkor, and Kennedy Boakye Ansah.
Board Member, Joseph Yaw Adu began work at the secretariat on Tuesday.
