The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly (WGMA), Hon. Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, has admonished the youth of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to eschew indiscipline and divisiveness as the party gears up for its Presidential and Parliamentary primaries.

He said, in achieving the ultimate goal, that is Breaking the 8, it is imperative to forge ahead in unity.

These, he said, would enable the party, including himself, hand over power to new NPP functionaries.

Hon. Kumor (MCE) was speaking at the Weija-Gbawe Youth Wing Conference on Saturday, 13th August 2022, at the Institute of Technical Supervision (ITS).

The conference theme was, ‘A Resourced and Vibrant Youth Wing, Catalyst to Breaking the 8.’

The conference, organized by the Constituency Youth Organizer, Kwame Bekoe, was attended by the National Youth Organizer, Mustapha Salem, the Regional Secretary, Daniel Odarlai Parker France and the Regional Youth Organizer, Moses Abor.

The Presiding Member (PM) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly (WGMA), Hon. Andrew Oppong Amoako, some Assembly Members and other senior patriots were in attendance with the teeming youth completing the package.

The Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Tina Mensah, charged the youth to remain focused, refuse to believe the cheap propaganda of the opposition, and improve upon their intellect.

The constituency executives were there to throw their support for the programme.

Speaker after speaker urged the youth to work harder in unity to realize the new mantra, Breaking the 8.

The Constituency Youth Organizer Kwame Bekoe, said with a database in place, job placements and opportunities would now be easier and accessible to the youth.

He asked for the support of all to make the constituency greater than it is now.
