President John Dramani Mahama will commence a nationwide “Thank You Tour” on Friday, January 24, starting in the Volta Region.
The tour is aimed at expressing gratitude to Ghanaians for their support during the 2024 general elections and strengthening the bond between the President and citizens.
A statement from the Presidency, signed by Acting Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, highlights that the Volta Region, a key electoral stronghold, was chosen to kick off the tour. The event will feature a grand durbar, bringing together chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious figures, labour unions, and other key stakeholders.
The tour also marks a celebration of Ghana’s unity and democratic achievements, as President Mahama continues to receive praise for his decisive leadership and commitment to delivering on campaign promises. Ghanaians are encouraged to participate in the tour as a moment of national pride and reflection.
