The Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources has today, donated 690 sets of litter bins to three (3) selected sectors as part of it activities to promote sanitation and cleanliness in the country.
The presentation was made by Deputy minister for Sanitation and water Resources Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah on behalf of the sector minister Cecilia Abena Dapaah.
The selected sectors which includes Education, Tourism and Health were presented each with 280 bins, 100 bins and 310 bins respectively.
The Deputy minister in an interview with our reporter, Nsor Paul Mensah, urged all the selected sectors representatives to put in better maintenance directives over the items in order to increase it’s lifespan.
He also added that, their ability of taking good care of the bins will motivate the ministry of Sanitation and water Resources to donate more items.
