Former President John Mahama joined other leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to mark the 40th anniversary of the 31st December 1981 uprising.
“I participated in the 40th anniversary of the 31st December Revolution held at the Town Council Line Park earlier today. It was an opportunity to reminisce on the core values of the Revolution”, the 2020 flag bearer of the NDC wrote on Facebook.
Ahead of the commemoration, the Events Planning Committee issued a statement in which it said the event was on the theme: “40 Years of Democratic Stability; the Legacy of the Legend”.
