The Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has charged the National Sports Authority to develop specific guidelines for individual non-contact sporting activities together with the various sporting federations.

The Minister made this known while speaking at the Minister’s briefing on COVID-19 on details of easing restrictions for Sporting activities in Ghana on Tuesday, 3rd June, in Accra.

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Sunday, May 31, 2020, announced the easing of some of the restrictions imposed on the country as part of measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Individual Non-contact sports such as golf, tennis, athletics, badminton, table tennis, triathlon and cricket are, however, allowed to go ahead, the President said in his update 10 address on Sunday.
