Parliamentary aspirant for Tema Central promises each delegate in his constituency one Uber car

Parliamentary aspirant of the NPP for Tema Central Constituency, Yves Hanson-Nortey has disclosed that he plans to give every delegate in his constituency one Uber car should he be voted.

According to reports, the initiative is dubbed one delegate, one uber and it’s expected to be run as work, pay and own it.

Confirming the news, Mr. Yves Hanson-Nortey explained that he thought it wise as a way of empowering the polling station executives to provide them with jobs.

“It’s a work pay and own programme designed to empower our polling station executives. It would also serve as a source of income for party activities,” he said.

“Just like any work and pay programme for taxis. We are only using the ride hailing Apps because the revenue can be traced unlike the regular taxis,” he concluded.

But the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC) believes that it’s not a feasible move by the MP aspirant.

In her reaction, she said what the politician is trying to do is “still not achievable”.

Some people after hearing the news have read meaning into it saying that all the politician is trying to do is to get people to vote for him and nothing more.

Mr Yves Nii Noi Hanson Nortey joins the list together with Mr Charles Forson, and Mr Ramseyer Agyemang Prempeh as they all try to unseat the incumbent MP, Mr Kofi Brako.
