Former Ghanaian defender, John Boye has donated some assorted items to players of the National Beach Volleyball team last weekend at their training grounds.
The donated items included cartons of bottled water, drinks and others.
The donation forms part of his generous objectives of supporting the less privileged under his foundation and his passion for beach volleyball albeit a footballer.
The team, led by their experienced head coach, Moro Mumuni expressed gratitude to John Boye for the kind gesture.
He added that the donated items would go a long way in their preparations towards upcoming international games.
He, however, called on all individuals, corporate entities and sports enthusiasts to emulate the gesture, adding that the players needs their support.
