Pictures: FreelunchGh embarks on Emergency Food Bank donation exercise amid COVID-19

Free lunch Ghana (FreelunchGh), an NGO set up as a soup kitchen/food bank committed to providing food-insecure children in Ghana with free healthy balanced meals, has donated over 300 food packages to the aged and needy in a community at Ablekuma Central in Accra.

The exercise which took place on Monday 25th May, 2020 saw items such as bags of rice, beans, oils, sardines, tin of tomatoes in packages being given out.

Md. Kadijat El-Alawa a co-founder of the group, revealed that their focus is to put smiles on faces by providing for the basic needs of people who could not make ends meet in their various communities.

She expressed her profound gratitude to the sponsors and volunteers who supported the initiative.
