REMAINS OF LATE WOII ANGMOR ARRIVES IN GHANA

The remains of Late Warrant Officer Class Two (WOII) Angmor John Nartey has arrived in Ghana at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on Thursday 22 December, 2022.

The late Senior Non Commissioned Officer (SNCO) was serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Ghana Battalion 89 (UNIFIL GH89) before his demise.

In a short ceremony at KIA, the Chaplain Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col), Peter Nyarko Duodu expressed his condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).

Quoting Romans 8:28, Lt Col Duodu said he believes the late SNCO had served his country and maker well, thus his work had come to an end.

He encouraged the families to stay strong during this difficult time and depend solely on God.

The body was later conveyed to the 37 Military Hospital Mortuary for preservation.
