Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has spoken ahead of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) set to come off on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
Shatta Wale has warned the organisers of the VGMA, Charterhouse to be wary of what he is capable of doing if the awards doesn’t go in his favour.
It seems, the My Level hitmaker doesn’t have confidence in the organisers hence his decision to warn them.
Shatta Wale made his intention known via a Facebook post which.
He wrote: “People should always remember 2013 can repeat itself in 2019 but this time the iOS will be very smart and sharp. Shatta surprises when the need arises. Self identity.”
In 2013, Shatta Wale dominated the headlines after his failure to win an award during the VGMA.
The controversial singer after losing the Dancehall Artiste of the Year to Kakie destroyed some equipment at the International Conference Center.
Ahead of the upcoming event, former manager of Shatta Wale, Bulldog, has made a comment with respect to the Ariste of the Decade award.
According to him, the exploits of Wale in the last decade were so sterling and cannot me matched or emulated.
