Ghana’s experienced player Emmanuel Asante won the 2019 Mashiano top 8 competition.
The event which took place on Saturday in Koforidua saw eight top players vying for the top spot as well as improving on their playing skills and also lifting their confidence level high ahead of the African games justifies in July here in Accra.
Emmanuel Asante expressed his profound gratitude to the organisers and Nana Yaw Boateng for such an opportunity and promised to make Ghana proud when given the chance at the upcoming African games in Rabat, Morocco in September this year.
Veteran Kofi Larbi and Emmanuel Ofori placed second and third respectively.
The PRO of Mashiano Records Mr. Emmanuel Mintah said the competition has been of good course. He advised all table tennis players in Eastern region to put in more effort and training.
The event was solely organized by former table tennis champion and Australian based, Nana Yaw Boateng.
