Weave Ghana Ltd donates items to hairdressers to fight Covid-19

Weave Ghana Limited,the number hair brand produced in Ghana in collaboration with the Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health and One on One Foundation,the nation’s number one sanitation and fitness organisers have presented over 200 veronica buckets,50 boxes of hand sanitizer and 40 boxes of hand washing soap to 200 salons in the Greater Accra region.

Olla Williams, CEO of One On One Foundation said they are reaching out to give support and also admonish all hairdressers to heed to the safety protocols against the Covid-19.

“We need them to protect themselves and their clients as well to help the nation fight this deadly pandemic” he said.

Roji 1 salon was one of the recipients and the MD Madam Jemmy Sakordie expressed her joy as one of the recognized salons.

Madam Linda Adjei of Weave Ghana said they are contributing to the economy of Ghana by employing many Ghanaians.

Dr. Mrs Anastasia Yirenkyi of the Ministry of Health adviced the hair dressers to abide by the safety and health protocols and curb the spread of the Coronavirus

Miss Angela Ayishetu Baba CEO of Darling urged Ghanaian women to patronize their products.

Mrs Joyce Lamptey, President of the National Association of Beauticians and Hairdressers also thanked Weave Ghana for the gesture and promised to let all their members abide by the Covid-19 protocols.

Madam Bernice Asante of the Ghana Hairdressers and Beauticians in the Greater Accra also received on behalf of her members and expressed her sincere gratitude for the donation.
