The management, executives and members of York 250 Gym at Mamprobi, Accra have congratulated Mustapha Arhin aka ‘Mayweather for placing third at the 9th TV3 Ghana Strongest competition 2020, dubbed ‘The power To Do’.
Madam Getty Addison, proprietor of the social / community gym said Mustapha Mayweather has done well as he has been training at the York 250 Gym and has improved his cardio, power to do and discipline.
She commended him also for being the only representative from Accra, Greater Accra region, the capital of Ghana.
He received an amount of 6,000ghc and products from the sponsors.
She encouraged the youth to take to sports and engage in a particular discipline like football, tennis, hockey, boxing, handball, beach sports, athletics and others.
She said the victory of Mayweather should inspire the youth of Ablekuma West and Accra to be daring to positive events and programmes like the Ghana Strongest competition, and the Man Ghana competition which John Narh, another gym member participated and excelled.
Ahmed Boakye was the eventual winner, with youthful Prosper Dakora placing second, and Godfred Akobila was fourth, all of them are from Kumasi.
The event which took place at Eli’s Beach Resort in Tegbi, near Keta in the Volta region attracted a lot of people and Edem thrilled the fans freely.
The 2020 Ghana Strongest was sponsored by GHACEM, Promasidor Ghana Ltd, Ernest Ointment, Day by Day and Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm.
