The Chief Executive Officer of Zongo Development Fund (ZoDF), Alhaji Halidu Haruna, has embarked on a familiarisation tour of ZoDF facilities in the Ashanti region. The tour, which commenced on November 26, 2025, involves the inspection of AstroTurf Facilities located at Bantama, Tafo, and Asawase, among others.
During the tour, Alhaji Haruna engaged officials from Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs), stakeholders, and the youth in the various Zongo communities. The engagement and inspection programme is targeted at strengthening the capacity of ZoDF and its stakeholders to improve services and intensify revenue generation.
The CEO’s visit is expected to foster stronger relationships between ZoDF and its stakeholders, including the youth and community leaders. It is also aimed at identifying areas for improvement and exploring opportunities for growth and development in the region.
Alhaji Haruna’s tour is part of efforts to enhance the performance of ZoDF and ensure that the organisation delivers on its mandate to support the development of Zongo communities. The CEO’s engagement with stakeholders is expected to yield positive outcomes for the communities and contribute to the overall growth and development of the region.
