The 5th edition of the Okai Kwei South sub Metro of the 63rd Independence Annual Anniversary for Kindergartens which happened yesterday on Wednesday (04-March-2020) at the Accra Academy School.
At the event, dignitaries like the MP for Okai Kwei South, Hon. Ahmed Authur, Metro Director of Education, Mr. Stephen Abamfo and many others delivered their speech about the impact of the occasion into the the lives of the kindergarten students and the country at large. Twenty-five(25) schools participated in the event and however, the activities that were depicted by the students from diverse schools include; match-passed exercises, choreography performances, cultural dance, Mother Ghana declarations, performances by the cardet and many others.
According to the Early Childhood Development Circuit Supervisor, Madam Elsie Juliet Van Dyck stated that she felt very disappointed when the companies she had made an agreement with to empower and support the event all failed to render their services when the time was due.
However, she further narrated that, she was astonished the event came on successfully despite the fact that everything was lying on her shoulders.
