The Accra ping-pong league powered by J.A Biney company limited has been fixed to take off on Saturday, 30th July, 2022 at the Hathramani hall of the Accra sports stadium.
The league which will span from 30th July to 1st October will witness 20 men and 8 women’s clubs fight for supremacy and for the ultimate prize.
The revamped league being organized by the Gt. Accra Table Tennis Association and sanctioned by the Ghana Table Tennis Association and is also aimed at unearthing talents, promoting and fostering cohesion among clubs.
The participating clubs includes, Ghana Police, Immigration, Ghana Fire Service, Ghana Army, Ghana Navy, Ghana Prisons.
Others are Top spinners, Kings Royal foundation, Blue Rose TTC, Pot Sports, Divine loopers, Madina stars among others.
The week one fixtures will witness some mouthwatering clashes both in the men and women’s divisions.
In the men fixtures, Immigration will play Ga Mashie, Hope TTC vs Pot Sports, Prisons vs Tiger Sharks, Police vs Top Spinners and Divine loopers host Blue Rose.
Team Courage and Kings Royal, Ghana Army vs Rising Stars, Madina stars vs Ghana Navy, Faith TTC vs Rising Stars and GNFS will square up against ‘Aba Mu Ewie’ TTC.
The female side will also see Army face Immigration, Ghana Navy vs Team Courage, Ghana Police vs Fire Service and Madina stars vs Rising Stars Foundation.
According to organisers, measures have been put in place to ensure successful organisation.
