Hon. Jefferson Kwamina Ato Sackey Launches Jefferson Care Health Initiative

As part of his initiatives to enhance the health situation in the Ablekuma Central Constituency, the New Patriotic Party parliamentary aspirant, Hon. Jefferson Kwamina Ato Sackey has successfully rolled out the Jefferson Care project.

The initiative which forms part of his manifesto is aimed at ensuring constituents in Ablekuma Central benefits from the scope of the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS.

The event which took place in Accra on Friday, 10th March, 2023 attracted over 100 constituents registering onto the scheme.

According to him, the initiative would help curb the current health issues within the constituency.

Adding that, the initiative has been extended across the Ablekuma Central Constituency.

“The Health For All program is to ensure that every polling station executive and supervisor within the Ablekuma Central Constituency has access to NHIS, the health card is your emergency card that if you go to every health facility you would need, so it’s important,” he said.

“According to my checks, I realized that out of the 1500 polling station executives within the constituency, it is just a little of about 600 that has the card, and I am doing everything possible to ensure that our people in this Constituency benefit as well,” he stated.

Hon. Jefferson Kwamina Ato Sackey who is optimistic of ensuring a successful health delivery system revealed that measures have been put in place for the constituents.

“My plan is to also ensure that I put together a special emergency health care system, once in a while there will be calls from constituents about health care issues. There is a special system that I am putting in place so that those kinds of funds are able to take of the emergency situations that we might have in this constituency.

“I am sure you have been following the welfare scheme that has already been rolled out and some donations made to Mabrouk, Adwenbu and Abossey Okai electoral areas and others are also in the pipeline,” the Ablekuma Central parliamentary aspirant, Hon. Jefferson Kwamina Ato Sackey stated.

He, however, hinted that other plans have also been outlined to empower the constituents through jobs creations and employment.

“There is going to be my job initiative that is going to come out very soon. A special skill training program that is basically in the pipeline,” he said.
