The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Dr. Randy Abbey as the chairman of the newly reconstituted Management Committee for the senior national football team, the Black Stars.
This Committee is set to manage the administrative and logistical functions of the team effectively.
In his role, Dr. Abbey will not only chair the Committee but will also spearhead engagement with governmental bodies and other stakeholders.
Joining him in this endeavor is former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, who will serve as Vice-Chairman, with a specific focus on player relations.
Other notable members of the Committee include Mr. Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and GFA Executive Council member, alongside Mr. Moses Armah, President of Medeama Sporting Club. Their primary responsibilities will encompass Operations and Matchday activities while safeguarding the interests of sponsors and other partners.
