The Municipal Chief Executive of Ablekuma Central, Hon. Frank Nkansah, and the Member of Parliament, Hon. Abdul Latif Dan received commendation for their open-door approach at a stakeholders engagement forum held on Wednesday, 10th June, 2026.

The forum brought together assembly members, traditional leaders, business owners, residents, and the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central, Hon. Abdul Latif Dan.

The MCE, Hon. Nkansah set a collaborative tone early, reiterating the Assembly’s vision: “Our ultimate goal is to build a Municipality where every resident has access to opportunities, essential services, and a safe, clean, and prosperous environment.” Stakeholders applauded the MCE’s willingness to directly address concerns on waste management, youth unemployment, and infrastructure, noting his emphasis on dialogue over directive.

The session was described as constructive, with participants agreeing that community input will now guide policy implementation and budget allocations. The MCE’s assurance that residents’ feedback would shape upcoming projects was widely welcomed as a step toward transparent governance.

Closing the forum, Hon. Nkansah called for continued partnership: “I therefore call upon all stakeholders gathered here today to continue supporting the Assembly’s development agenda. Let us work together to strengthen local governance, promote accountability, encourage investment, and improve the welfare of our communities.” He said.

The Assembly reaffirmed job creation, sanitation, healthcare, and security as its four core pillars for sustainable growth.
