Ashanti Gold are set to announce the signing of Aduana Stars attacker Yahaya Mohammed.
The striker would be making a loan move to the Miners who are expected to play in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
Ashanti Gold earned a spot in Africa as winners of the NC tier-2 competition after the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season was truncated.
As part of their plans to strengthen their squad, the former Ghana Champions have added the experienced forward into the squad for next season’s campaign.
Yahaya Mohammed was a joint top scorer in the cancelled season after scoring 13goals for Aduana Stars.
The 32-year-old previously played for local sides Tema Youth, Kotoko and Amidaus Proffessionals.
He also had stints with OGC Nice, Ittihad Tripoli, Murciélagos and Azam FC.
