Ghana captain Andre Ayew collected four awards including the Player of the Season gong at Swansea City.

The Swansea City ace swept all top awards at the end of year gong to make him the club’s best player during the 2019/20 season.

He was named Player of the season, the Players’ Player of the season, the Away Player of the season as well as the Club’s top scorer.

The 30-year old enjoyed a phenomenal campaign with the Welsh club, and came close to helping them make a quick return to the top flight, but agonizingly lost to Brentford in the semifinals of the promotion play-offs.

Andre Ayew scored 18 goals in all competition to finish the campaign as top scorer, 15 of those goals in the regular season, two in the EFL Cup and one in the play-offs. He also contributed seven assists.

He was on target in the first leg of their play-offs semifinal game against Brentford.

The awards were held virtually this year as the original awards event – in conjunction with the Executive Fundraising Committee and Supporters Trust – was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

His outstanding performances in the English championship has seen him attract interests from several top clubs including French giants PSG.
