Benin referee Tanisla Ahomlanto Dedjinnanchi has been appointed to officiate the Ghana U-20 fixture with the Niger U-20 team at the ongoing 2020 WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations tournament.
Ghana in the past week played against Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire in the group stage of the tournament.
After winning the game against Nigeria and losing to the young Elephants, the Black Satellites sealed qualification to the semi-finals of the tournament where they are now scheduled to face Niger.
Ahead of the game, organizers have appointed Benin referee Tanisla Ahomlanto Dedjinnanchi to play the role of a centre referee.
The 31-year-old will be assisted by compatriots Hontonou Lucien (Assistant I), Kpelafia Abdul from Togo (Assistant II), and Ligan Aurore (Fourth Official).
Meanwhile, Yameogo Fabienne Yvette Benewende from Burkina Faso will be the Match Commissioner.
The crucial semi-final encounter between the Ghana Black Satellites and the Menas of Niger will be played on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
If Ghana wins, the Satellites will qualify to play in the final as well as the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
