CODA Completes School Project For Ati Mokwa

The Coastal Development Authority (CODA) has completed the construction of a modern 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at the Mokwa Basic School, Ati Mokwa in the Twifo Ati Mokwa constituency of the Central region. The project was funded by the Authority under the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP).

The new school block is fully furnished with dual desks for pupils. The building also has a teachers’ common room and a storeroom.

CODA projects in Twifo Ati Mokwa constituency

CODA is presently focused on prioritising economic empowerment and educational advancement initiatives in Twifo Ati Mokwa constituency.

The Authority is currently constructing four major projects in the Twifo Ati Mokwa constituency.
Aside the 6-unit classroom block at Ati Mokwa, construction is ongoing for a 6-Unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Twifo Praso Basic School. CODA is also constructing a 40-seater open market stalls, store room and external works at Twifo Abugyaa community. A medium market is also under construction at Twifo Praso.

IPEP

IPEP is designed to incorporate the input of beneficiary communities in the prioritisation of their needs, project selection and implementation.

A flagship initiative of the Akufo-Addo administration, IPEP seeks to accelerate economic and social development through the allocation of one million dollars or its cedi equivalent annually for such special projects.
