In with its mandate, the Coastal Development Authority (CODA) is undertaking development projects in each of the 109 constituencies in the coastal development zone.
Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency is one of such constituencies.The projects are selected through stakeholder engagement and needs assessment processes.
CODA projects in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency
So far, CODA is constructing a total of six projects in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency. They include school blocks, CHPS Compounds, and a steel bridge among others.
Three classroom blocks with ancillary facilities are being constructed. A 6-unit classroom block at Brakwa Kokoso Islamic B Basic School, a 6-unit classroom block at Ogonaso D/A Basic School, and a 3-unit classroom block at Nwomaso Methodist JHS.
The Authority is also constructing two community-based health planning and services (CHPS) at Tweredua and Kwakubuah communities.
There is also ongoing Construction of 24M Steel Bridge on Ayipey Junction – Ayipey feeder road.
The projects are expected to help accelerate economic and social development through enhanced educational and health services delivery, among others.
